  • Now What??!!!?

So, last week when I got checked for an infection, I had a little one and doc put me on Cipro for 3days. Felt great for those days, then Tuesday the pain and frequency started to creep back. Yesterday was horrible. Felt sick all day, thought maybe it was the flu because I had body aches and was kinda shaky-the only thing that helped yesterday was eating-ALOT! There goes the diet . Anyways, so today I went to give a UA again and this time they found a little infection but also protein. They're going to send off the results and let me know tomorrow. Anyone know what causes protein? Was hoping just didn't get all of the infection and could just take Cipro again for longer. I'm going to go nuts wondering what they've found out

Hopefully you'll have an answer soon. Only an IC patient would hope it's an infection.

Antibiotics do have some anti-inflammatory qualities so that may be the reason you feel better on them.

    Warm healing thoughts,

I hope your doctor will see you soon, I feel so bad that you are feeling so sick and miserable, poor thing.

A lot of times doctors, when they find out I have IC, give me Cipro for ten days instead of three. I don't know why they do that.

      Blessings,
      Lori
