  • Abnormal Amounts of Blood Cells in Urine?

Hi, quick question, has anyone been told they had abnormally large amounts of blood cells in their Urine? I had a visit with my specialist today and he said they found this in my Urine sample. They asked if I had my period, but I don't right now. After I stopped the Depo I stopped bleeding within a few weeks and haven't had a regular period yet. The NP there said it could mean bleeding or Ulcer's in my bladder, but I have had 2 cystoscopies done and both showed a relatively healthy bladder with no Hunner's Ulcers. Has anyone had this happen and nothing abnormal come up? Has anyone had Hunner's Ulcers appeare much later after initial symptoms (my last Cysto was just back in Dec. 06)? I had blood tests done and they will be getting back to me in a few days, I just wanted to get some feedback here to calm me down a little!
    Thanks!
    Rachel

I nearly always have some red cells in my urine --- if I'm flaring, there are more than usual.

The reason why I'm worried is because this has never happened before to me. And I have been going to Uro's on a regular basis since last August. I give a urine sample at every single visit. I just wondered if this was something that could all of a sudden show up in a person diagnosed with non- classic IC (I didn't have any Hunner's Ulcer's show up in my two Cysto's or my Hydro) and not mean HUnner's Ulcer's were forming.
