My second husband was uncircumcised and I was always getting bacterial vaginosis when we were together. Makes you wonder about other things like IC too. I never had this problem with my first husband who was circumcised. -
Interesting theory. I wish someone could figure this out. I've never been with anyone uncircumcised though.Leave a comment:

I can see where it could be possible to transmit infections unless the individual is clean, but if there were a real connection there would be thousands more cases of IC.

Uncircumsised Partners ?
I have read that there is a link between having uncircumcised partners and UTI's. I am wondering if there is a link with IC patients and uncircumcised partners as well. How many of you with IC have or in the past had partners who are not circumcised. I have IC and I did.
