    Hi
I've been reading a few post and my question is. Are homones good or bad for me, I have a lot of pain in the urethra before during and after urinating.
I have lots of supra pubic pain also. Lots of jabbing pain through my bladder or any other close area even the labia....I started homone replacements about 8 months ago..taking the progesterone and estrogene.....
So now I dont have any periods....Have anyone exprerience a difference with or without hormones for all this pain I'm having..Its starting to affect my work..I'm so tired all the time trying to cope with daily chores and being in constant pain is not easy....Sometimes I feel like my life is over.

    Sleepless,
I know how we can feel hopeless sometimes, but please try not to. You'll find things to help, it takes time.
Have you spoken to your doctor about the continuing pain as it relates to your hrt? BTW, why were you put on HRT with no periods?
I take just Estrogen cream in the form of Estradiol,(no progesterone), because I had a hysterectomy many years ago. I do think it helps a little, but for me, I think the Estrogen cream helps more.
I wish I had more to add, but I'm sure you get lots more responses.
I hope you can find some things that help.
    Sending hugs,
    Laurie

Low estrogen can lead to multiple bladder problems. Your bladder is estrogen dependent to maintain its health.
