Yes I do but I live in a rural area and just nip into the bushes when I need to pee, when I am walking in the city i plan my walks around bathrooms.

For me a big trigger fo going into total retention is not to pee at first urg to pee, if I hold it for any amount of time then I have a really hard time starting to go if at all.

Do you have retention problems at other times?

I find if i am going to go out for a walk also wearing pants that are loose over the bladder a bit easier on my bladder and my ability to pee.

      retention

I have retention at different times. I can't tell you any specific time except when I walk for longer than about 30 minutes at a time. My bladder has a mind of it own. Sometimes I can't pee and sometimes I pee a lot. I also don't pee when I first have the urge. I wait for a while and then I try to go. Sometimes I can go and sometimes I have to use a catheter.
