Boric Acid Powder for yeast
Ok, I've found something new to make myself crazy over. I was told boric acid suppositories were a great alternative for yeast prevention. I have been using twice/week maintenance for several years and it's kept me totally cleared up. As soon as I quit, it always came back. I've never heard about any problems from it. My 46 yr. old cousin though was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer so I was reading up on that and found talcum powder in the genital area to be a risk factor because of the boric acid in it. So this panicked me that I've been using it twice/week for a few years. Anybody know more about this? If it's that dangerous, how come I've never heard this before?
