are these symptoms?

Hi all. I have had discharge, burning, itching, and pain (and not in the bladder - in the you know coochie). I have been to see my gyno 3 times in the last 4 weeks. The first time I had a bacterial infection. I took a cream for it. It never went away. When I went back the next week, he found nothing, no infections at all. Then I had a hyrdo and it got worse. I went back to gyno today, and still nothing. He said he was going to run some cultures that would take a couple days to get back. This just sucks, it burns and hurts so bad. Does this sound like it could be vulvodynia?

My gyno's office just called, I have nothing. This will sound weird, but I wish it was something. At least I could take something and it would go away. Im supposed to call next week if I still have this symptoms. I just hate hearing "the tests came back, they are all normal. You certainly could have vulvodynia. I went to countless doctors until I found one that tried to acurately diagnose me.

Have your brought up this possible diagnosis with your gyn? If the gyn is unwilling to get to the bottom of this, could you switch gyn's? If you do look for a new gyn, make sure he or she has worked with vulvodynia before so they can accurately diagnose you.
