  • Questions about vulvodynia diet

Anyone on a low oxalate diet for vulvodynia?
I have not been formerly diagnosed, but have had symptoms I can trace to eating foods high in O. I woke up in the middle of the night with a intense burning in mu vulva and vagina--similiar to a yeast infection, but worse. Five days later when I saw my GYN, the inflamation was gone. I told her that I had eaten alot of high O foods before flare up.,to include spinach, wheat&wheat bran. Did she think I might have V? She said no??? This happened 2 months ago and I have gotten a copy of the low O diet, but it does not list some foods. Also do not understand grams& milligrams . Need help in being able to count how many mgs. I can have daily. I have just had another flare--Dual IC&V? So I need to be more carefull about my diet.

    Feedback would be appreciated

I had VV first and the calcium worked great. After I got IC, couldn't tolerate the calcium anymore in any way, shape, form, however N-Acetyl Glucosamine sure helped. I'm mostly remissed in Vulvodynia now.
