  • over growth of good bacteria

Does anyone have trouble with to much bacteria. No matter what I try I can't get rid of this and it seems to make me flare. At times it doesn't seem as bad and then for some reason it starts getting worse again. When I had my hysterectomy the doctor said this discharge would go away after I healed but it didn't and he just acted like he didn't hear me and it's been over a year since my surgery. I have had this for over two years it seem like it started the sametime as my bladder trouble.

I can't help wondering if part of your problem is sensitivity to soaps or fabrics.

I thought that could be some of the problem to so I use Dove soap for sensitive skin and I use Summers Eve Feminine Wash for sensitive skin.

Hi. I went to a dermatologist many years ago because of skin sensitivity issues and was told to use Basis or Purpose. Both are hypoallergenic soaps, more mild even than Dove. I've always had great luck with both. Maybe you could switch to one of these to stop the Dove and wipes, just to be sure? Just a thought. Hope you feel better soon! Melanie J.

There are many soaps and products that advertise they are for sensitive skin and many are. However, if you have "allegic" skin, you may need to look at some different things. I'm not familiar with either Basis or Purpose. My allergic family members use Neutrogena. Some other things to look at are your laundry soap and any products you use in your dryer (our allergist ruled out any laundry "soap" and recommended detergents only --- the products widely advertised for use on baby things are really bad for allergies). My youngest doesn't tolerate any of the dryer additives used to soften clothes. You might also try double rinsing your unders, towels, and washcloths (anything that touches your genital area). Try just using plain white, unscented toilet tissue and blot, don't wipe.

          Hope this helps.
