  • Lexapro and other SSRI Effects?

    Hey everyone!
Today I was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety and depression and was wondering if anyone has any experience with SSRIs- did it trigger bladder pain or other issues for anyone? My bladder is really sensitive to medicines (even ordinary things like birth control or cold medicines send me into a flare) and Ive read some posts on here about them making IC so i’m a little scared to start it!

    Thank you!

I suggest you do an internet search for Lexapro side effects and see if there is anything there about the nerves or the renal system.

      Good luck!

I've been taking 10 mg of Lexapro for almost a year and it has not effected my bladder at all and has definitely helped with my anxiety, although it did take a while.
