Dear all,
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced increased pain when using Estriol cream vaginally post menopause? It doesn't burn upon insertion, but for a day or two after each application I feel like something is walking all over my pelvic floor causing continuous pain. This symptom did not begin until after I had used it daily for more than a week, and then the flares began intermittently, and now that I am using it 3 times a week, during the night after using the cream, the flare begins and will last at least a day and a night with continuous pain. I am speaking to the local compounding pharmacy to learn what else is in the cream, don't have an appointment with physician until another few weeks. Has anyone else had to deal with this and what did you do?
