testosterone
Has anyone successfully taken testosterone without bladder or other consequences? Did it help improve sexual desire again? If you were successful, what dose did you tolerate? I need something to go on. My Dr. wants me to try but no experience with IC and testosterone.

I started on a cream on Tuesday. I am suppose to apply it to the vagina twice a day but with the vulvodynia I just can't do it. One of the girls recommended rubbing in on the tummy and that's what I'm doing. My dr told me it is NOT like viagra, you don't use it when you want to 'do it'. It's something that has to be applied everyday. I haven't told my husband that I am doing this because I don't want him to be let down if it doesn't work. At least, now, in my heart, if he ever goes off about 'never getting it' I will beable to tell him that I've tried everything I know how to try.
I've really been looking for information about women and their libido's and if my math is right, there are a whole lot of guys out there completely lying about how often they are getting it!!!! I have a few close friend who have no health problems and their husbands are doing without too.
I miss it, I miss the closeness. But, I swear to God, if I had the choice of being healed or the choice of being able to have my sex life back....I'd be CURED;o)

Update~didn't work [img]frown.gif[/img] after a week my clitoris was so swollen and hurt so bad that the pain matched the pain I always have in my uretha and vagina that I just said screw it...........it was worth a try <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[banghead]" />teri

I saw the GYN this week and she wants me to try testosterone cream 1/2 hour before sex and/or twice a week if I don't. I'm sorry it didn't work, Terri. I haven't decided if I will try this yet or not. I'm currently experimenting with transdermal pain creams so can't try anything else new yet.Dianne
