This is bizarre but I'm 4 years post menopause and still having just as many hot flashes as ever-about one/hour. Won't they ever leave? I was told 2 years but no end in sight. I quit being a hero after 2 years and started estriol cream 1 gm. three times/week which helps a little but I still have a lot of breakthrough hot flashes and the worst part is I have a bladder spasm I think with each, esp. if I am lying down. I have tremendous bladder pain followed shortly by a flash, then it lasts a min. or so afterwards. I presume it's a spasm. I don't know what else it would be. My Dr. said probably due to the estrogen receptors on the bladder. Anyone else have this?
