  • 1st day back at work-

First day back at work- UGH!!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Soooooooo tired!!!!!!!
Fortunately no one has been really in my face about anything. And I am sedated enough that I wouldn't claw their eyes out if they tried. But I hate this feeling.

I cannot sleep at night. That has got to be the WORST symptom of menopause. I could care less about the night sweats. The hot flashes are sometime really bothersome, other times not so bad depending if I am in an enviornment where I can start shedding my clothing or not!

But the lack of sleep is AWEFUL! What do you do??????

What to do for lack of sleep?

Well, that depends on why you are not sleeping. Menopausal hormone imbalance may or may not be the whole cause. It is easy to dump all our symptoms into one basket. I did this with nocturia. I complained about it for two years before it finally occured to me that maybe it wasnt all IC. Turns out its very little IC and whole lot sleep apnea. So, dont be so quick to think all your problems are menopause. When you get one settled down, another symptom can emerge and things can be caused by more than one thing.
