Hey Sami - it's actually me, Lauren. I posted the question before I found my new doc who is working with me on the hormone replacement. She is also listed in the directory for Women's International. Thanks for getting back to me!!

KarenAnne - thanks too, for getting back to me. I'm working with a gyn - Dr. Catherine Cunningham in Westfield now. I like her a lot. So far so good.

Are you in North or South Jersey? Dr. Hanno down at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania refers his patients to Dr. Paul Nyrjesy at Hahneman Hospital. He is a board cert. ob-gyn that specializes in vaginal disorders & is quite knowledgeable about the associated problems with IC. I found him to be very thorough & compassionate & he prescribed the necessary vaginal estrogens for me.

    Dr. in NJ

I would call a compounding pharmacy in the area or an international compounding pharmacy like Womens International and ask for the names of physicians in the area that are RX natural hormones. Then call their offices and interview them with: What type hormones are you RX?
What is your philosophy on dosing (teeny tiny-by presenting clinical symptoms). You are paying for a service and if you can get the idea of where the Doc's head is at you will save yourself time and money by asking about this on the phone before you pay for an appointment. Usually you have to ask to speak to his nurse as the receptionist probably dont know.
