We have an above ground pool and we use Baquacil --- there are some generics so it's less expensive. I don't know about Bromine safety for ICers.

Donna, Thanks!! We are getting an above ground pool in a couple of weeks and wanted to be sure to have something that’s IC friendly. But with 4 kids- pool can’t get here fast enough for them :-)

I also want to thank you for all the advice and support you always give. I joined in 2010 and have always been thankful for your support on this site. It seems like I only visit when I have bad flares .

      but thanks!

Thank you! I'm glad I can help. We'll probably get our pool ready within the next couple of weeks. It's usually mid-July before it's warm enough. The generic we use is Revacil, but there are others --- you can google to find where you can find generics in your area.
