  • I love yoga!

It is great! I bought this DVD, Yoga Conditioning For Weight Loss from http://www.walmart.com ohhhh my God, I started out on the beginner's section, and it works well, I can feel the stretch and the firming and all that good stuff. I have to work on my breathing, but that's not big deal for now.

    It's sooo great!!!

    Thumbs up for yoga!

Hi Jess, is this for firming up after weight loss, or to help loose weight? Would be really interested to know, I bookmarked the Walmart page, I like Tai Chi as well, but my son does yoga and says he really likes it, and thinks it might help me out with IC. His instructor is a woman in her fifties, and he said she has some sort of internal problem, not sure what but it really helps her. Interested to hear about your yoga tape, may be the one to help me out. Hugs mum Iris. hi hat

        Hi Mum,

It's for losing weight. And firming up your muscles. It comes in three parts, you start with the beginner and she walks you through stretches and poses, then you move on when you feel ready. I PM'd you the link for it. I am so sore, it targets your arms, legs, back, abs, lower ab, shoulders, but it's a good sore, you know what I mean? Like I can't wait for more!!!

        Hugs and love mum!!!

Hi Jess, thanks a lot for the PM and the link, and it sounds exactly what I need, something that starts from beginners and progresses, especially for losing some of the weight I have gained, some is meds, and some is me stuffing my face, I must admit. I have DVD, so I am going to definitely check into it. I do have an exercise bike, but I like do do different things. Will certainly give it a shot. Take care and hugs and luv ya lots mum Iris. hi kissing hat

I love yoga too but yoga doesnt love me. I had been doing the beginner tape for well over a month, about 5 weeks, when one morning I couldnt get up!

I have degenerative disc disease in my spine but THOUGHT I was being so careful, I guess it caught up with me.

I really miss it as it helped with my fibro pain, and even the back pain til the morning from he**!!

I'm thinking about trying it again, and going very slowly.

I'm glad you wrote about this because it's great, low or no impact exercise that will keep your muscles in tone and get your body moving, the endorphins flowing........makes me want to get the tape outta the drawer tomorrow morning.

              Hi Jess!

              How's the yoga going??

I LOVE yoga too..did it for years until I got into pilates before my wedding in order to REALLY tone up (it worked wonders!), but am thinking of going back to yoga to relax more.

                Hi Alexa,

The yoga is going really well, I love all the stretching, it feels pretty good...well some positions don't LOL! lmao But it relaxes me so much, I do that and self hypnosis every day (self hyp to help with fibromyalgia pain and relaxation) so I'm finding myself less tense. But I've been pretty sick so I haven't been doing my yoga the past couple of days and I'm just itching to get back to it. Well not while I feel like this, I'd probably bend over to stretch and lose my balance, fall, and knock myself out with my luck! lmao I'm so clumsy LOL! I wanted to try Pilates, and I think I might after yoga, I'm just working myself up to intense exercise.

                Hugs and love,
                Jess
