  • Kundalini Yoga

Has anypne tried this type of Yoga? I went to 3 sessions at a Yoga center and I really like it. Kundalini Yoga is very spiritual, mind - body- spirit connection, and a lot of meditation and brething excercises. It also has Challenging postures and move and that's the part that I consider more IC challenging. However you can go at your own pace and do alternatives when the excercise is difficult to you.
The book I'm reading on this type of Yoga is the "8 Human Talents". Really Good.

    Yoga

I have not heard of this however I just started Hatha Yoga. I seem to flare a little during but am fine afterwards. Do you have any symptoms doing your type of Yoga? Have you noticed all over better health?

You can find more information on Kundalini Yoga in the web. I have notice improvement in my mental health and I have only started recently. That's the reason I chose this yoga because it really focuses on meditation, spirituality and healing. The classes are very inexpensive, not commercial at all.
I strongly believe in the mind - body conection and this yoga is helping me achieve both. I'm going slowly, at my own pace and it ididn't flare me (only once when I worked the abdomen but just a little. We do a lot of relaxation afterwards and that helps. I also help that every time we do an excersi I know what part of the body I'm working on and what type of emotion, for examplet, an excercise to release fear, or anger. That's amazing to me.
Hatha yoga is a bit different, I've tried it a while ago before IC and all that. I didn't pursue it because the particular class I went to was too full, too hectic for me. I was looking for something more spriritual and I found Kundalini and I recommend it.
I think all yogas are good and very benefitial to teh health. I know people that do Hathat na dhave optimal health. All yogas are very similar they are spiritual, but centers and teachers can make a difference and you have to see what fit you better. I've heard Kripalu Yoga is good too. Good luck.
