Has anyone else had any luck with the Rephresh brand tampons? My PT gave me a box to try and I won't say they are the most protective tampon I've ever tried but I did in fact have reduced irritation while using them.
If you have not seen them, it is a plastic applicator tampon (regular white bleached fill) with an acidic ingredient added that is supposed to keep your vaginal pH at the level it would be if blood were not taking it to a 7. I thought this sounded like a sure recipe for a stinging disaster and a night of rueful snickering and baking soda baths, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the drop in urethral burning.
