Anyone who says something is foolproof hasn't met a determined fool
FINALLY on Good Friday it came. All of the prayers, listening to Christian music, went to church to pray finally came around. It was 36 days which has been the most. Too bad I didn't keep a chart of my periods for at least a year. I only have it since September 2010. I'm sure in the past I have had periods come a week late. Is 36 days still ok and healthy? I always thought 30 days is the max for a normal healthy period. I know at times we can have 2 periods a month. (Get it April 1, then get it again April 29th) I must have watched Passion of the Christ ALL last week. Just the part where Jesus died on the cross then was resurrected. What a moving, violent, beautiful, sad film. So emotional!

Like the others have said it would help to see a specialist for your concerns. I'm 35 (36 soon) and had to fight my mom to see a specialist for my super heavy long periods that I dealt with for 10 yrs. Come to find out it is good for a woman to see a specialist when they turn 18 and I was 23 at the time. It would be good for your health to have yearly Pap smears, breast exam, and any concerns or questions that you may have.
I prefer women doctors when it comes to women parts and functions. They can relate well with their female patients. Do it for your health
I did see a Catholic OBGYN and she did try and do pap smear with the speculum for young girls, but I couldn't handle it at all. Just her touching outside was scary. I do have a tiny fibroid on my bladder so she thinks that could be why I'm in more pain. Also the IC. I never had intercourse and don't want to. I don't want to have children and I don't want to get married. The OB GYN doctor suggested this though and I was wondering if any of you did the same thing or knew of someone who did. She did tell me that she has to sedate some of her women patients for the pap smears. These type of females are mentally retarded or people who are institutionalized. These type of females were raped or taken advantage of so no wonder they would have to be sedated for pap smears. My case is my anxiety, being a virgin, and the IC. The doctor prescribed Valium and Percocet. One of each medication one hour before the pap smear. If I don't feel drowsy within 30 min, then take one more of each. So would these two medications make me very groggy? I do have endoscopies and I get completely sedated for that. Maybe I will be totally sedated if I take TWO of them. I don't like people touching me down there. I don't like to expose myself to strangers even if they are women doctors. I wonder if I may have some retardation in me?
