    Hi Cathy:
Good luck and I do hope you can give up smoking !!
I did try to smoke once and I did not like it, so I never became a smoker..
I know it is very hard to stop , so I am praying that you can for you Cathy !!

    All the best: Debbie

Cathy- go for it! I quit in October, if I can do it, you can do it. I used the patch and it kept me from committing murder LOL. Actually if you really want to quit and are committed to trying, then you can do it. I love not smelling like a cigarette anymore and when I wash my hair, in the evening it still smells nice, not like an old ashtray. Good luck and keep us posted.

I just know you can do it. I quit years ago with the help of nicorette gum. I was horribly addicted to nicotine and it wasn't easy even with the gum.

It made me feel so much better that it was well worth the effort.

          Encouraging hugs,
          Stay safe

            Hello Cathy,

Just wanted to give you more words of encouragement. You can do it, think positive. I don't smoke now, but smoked a cigarette here and there in my younger years, when I was out with my girlfriends. Never much of a smoker though, my late husband had asthma. Till he died in 1990, then I became a pack and 1/2 chain smoker till my car stunk, I started feeling short of breath, my house smelled, and I found another type of music besides what I listened to then to soothe my soul.

            Wishing you a happy,painfree, smokeless, 2001!

            Take care
