  • DAY 4...MY FAMILY IS STILL ALIVE

i HAVEN'T EVEN BITTEN THEIR HEADS OFF THEIR BODIES YET!!! IT'S A MIRACLE!!!! Although my son is house sitting for someone and and my husbsand is sick with a cold so everything is quieter than normal around here....maybe everything is falling into place and this will be it!!! I've had some stressful moments that I made it through just fine. I'm taking a lot of deep breaths!!! And of course I'm using the nicotine inhaler. If you haven't tried it yet to help quit, you need to....I have tried everything...

Wow...4 days...that's something to be proud of!

I'm also posting to share something I hope will give you added incentive to hang in there...my dear grandmother smoked from age 18 to age 60 and suffered from ill health up until she quit at 60. She lived almost another 30 wonderfully healthy years after quitting, giving us many more precious years together! I know you can do it too...Wishing you the best, Susan

Thank-you so much ladies!!! I'm proud too!!

Thanks for the words about you grandmother!!
That's really encouraging. In the past I've often thought, oh well, even if I quit I've probabley done so much damage, I'll die from it anyway..Maybe I will, but I intend to feel better for the time I do have left and quitting certainly isn't going to hurt.

Keep praying for me cause I had a few moments last night and this morning when I might have smoked if I had it. But I made it through....I thought it would get easier, but it's getting harder  I will beat this!!!!!

YOU GO GIRL!!!!! I am sooooooooo proud of you!! Quiting smoking was the hardest thing I have every done!!! If I can do it then you can too!! You have to for your health because if it isn't doing something now it will in the future!! You already have IC--you don't want any illness that you could have prevented!!!! Hang in There It is H#$% for a while but you can get through it!!!!
