  • Thoughts from my 15 year old daughter

1.) Why is it when things are moved by ship they are called cargo. when they are moved by car/ups it is shipment?

2.) Don't you call it a little creepy that your doctor calls his work his "Practice"?

What about when it is moved by tuck or train it is called freight? lol, I asked my husband your daughters question. That was his response.

Yes it is creapy that they call it practice. We put our lives in their hands. The prescibe drugs, perform surgury on us, diagnose us, while they practice. ahhhhhhhhh

            Insightful daughter. hi

                  Here's another English language funny...
                  Plural of mouse=mice
                  Plural of louse=lice
Plural of house= not hice! eek

I got a whole class of kids learning English in an uproar over that one. (Next time I teach ESL I'll use the cargo one)
