You gotta love the funny guys! It's so helpful - either to end a fight or to make you feel better when you are feeling like crud.

I love it when mine makes the cat talk to me...lol...

My bf is a comedian too... One time we had just gotten into a fight. He went upstairs to his room, while I cleaned the dishes. He yelled down the stairs "babe come here." I was angry and yelled no!!! Finally I walked up the stairs to find the door closed... Which was wierd because it's always open. I opened the door and he's standing there wearing just an orange hunting vest, a camo floppy hat and calf high hunting boots. He had his salute pose and then starting dancing towards me. (paractlically naked.) I was histerically laughing!!! I said what are you wearing?? lol He said "well you dress up for me so I'm dressing up for you!" In camo hunting gear?? It was funny!

My husband is a comedian too... he makes me laugh so hard I choke on food and drink sometimes. He is a great mimic and mimics other people that we know from work, etc, and it has me in stitches....

I just hope that when we are old and gray we are still making each other laugh, playing, and trying to have fun. It's nice to have that. And you're right...it does make you more sane! What an oxymoron!

LMAO!! That reminds me of the time we were on the PUBLIC dock down at our little city's harbor and hubby and I and couple of the fishing buddies were walking along and then next thing you know, he and one of the other guys are down to boxers and jumped off the doc! Geesh......

Ok, I am glad mine isn't the only one with a Muppet voice, it's frightengly funny, lmao!! This Muppet isn't for kids...lmao!!!!!!!!!!! Or some days we speak an accent to one another, it's nuts. But keeps me sane - that makes real good sense, lmao!!!!

Haha! Mine too has a muppet voice he breaks out for special occassions. At least he isn't using that one when he talks to my vagina!

Last weekend we were at our best friends' place. Another married couple. There was also another friend there with us. We've all been friends for years. My husband disappeared to the bathroom, and somewhere along the way found a beige trench coat. We were all sitting in the living room, and all of the sudden he runs into the room with this trench coat on, opens it really quickly, and is only wearing boxers and socks! Then runs away! We were all laughing so hard we were crying. He reappears (fully dressed), 3 or 4 minutes later, and deadpans "What's so funny?"

    He's 30.

OMG - so sounds like something mine would do! LOL It's great that they can be silly to make us laugh, I think that it really IS true - laughter is the best medicine!! With mine, I should be the picture of health, lmao!! Especially when he starts the Muppet voice and threatens to talk that way in the grocery store! ARGH!!!!!

started a topic Something kind of funny...

    Something kind of funny...

I have a fantastic husband, and as newlyweds who have been missing out on some of that "bunny rabbiting" that's supposed to occur, he's been a gem. His only complaint about the situation is some dismay regarding not being able to meet my sexual needs at times though I can meet his. Otherwise, he's supportive, patient, kind, and perfection.

I started physical therapy which has been really great, and my husband, being the funny guy that he is, thought that perhaps my vagina could be helped further by being "talked to." Much like a plant. He sings it songs, talks to it, tells it to get better, that he's rooting for it. It's more for our amusement than anything, because we get to collapse into giggles and have a good time.

The other night, we had the most pain-free sex I've seen in almost 2 years. I was doing so well, I even branched out into other positions, including THE one that never gets done because it pokes the bladder directly. You know the one...it's every man's favorite.

And afterwards...he thanked it. And he meant it.
Working...
