I think you meant to put http://www.whensexhurts.com I have checked it out, and it seems to be a great place! I think it was a great idea to create a site for people who have that problem, since it isnt really limited to ICers. I am glad that it is taking off. Thanks for reminding everyone about it! Just adding my 2 cents worth. It's really a wonderful, light hearted place where you can feel comfortable talking about sexual issues. Definately come on over and visit!

04/17/09 Crohn's disease almost killed me with a combo of extreme constipation from pain medications. My bowel ruptured, I almost died from peritonitis and spent several days in the ICU then more in a private room on the floor. If you have any questions about severe constipation from pain meds please don't hesitate to send me a message.

Oh yes, there is a discussion for everyone, if something doesn't suit you skip on over it and on the next! Very user-friendly!! It's safe and non-judgemental whatsoever, and as Sandy said - lighthearted, we're all in it together so might as well have fun while trying to figure it all out!

Hi, I'm dianna_rose and it's good to be here!

Hello everyone, I'm so happy to find you all. Now I can continue learning more about what my body is doing to me, and I have so many questions but above all, I no longer feel alone, because I was the only one I knew who has IC. While I'm babbling on, can anyone point me in the direction of an article I can send on to family and friends or that I can print out for them to help them understand what this is? Most of them think the pain is mostly in my head for having nothing more than a bad, recurring UTI. And where do I learn about the IC diet? It looks like I keep triggering my flares from what I eat and what I do. Well, I am thankful for all of you. Can't wait to get to know you all... Sincerestly,
                    dianna_rose...

I'm sorry, Sharon, but there was something about the combination of the Forum being titled "Sex and Romance" and your Thread being titled "Come Join Us!" that just absolutely cracked me up!

Like, uh, yeah -- maybe when we get to know each other a little better...

Wishing you happiness and good health, and all the best out of life.

                            Peace, Carolyn
