  • I found a great solution

My boyfriend always seems to want to have sex more than I do since I have IC and if I have sex too much (ie more than once a week or even 2) it feels like I am getting a UTI. I kept thinking he isn't satisfied enough with me and maybe he would be happier with someone else.

So, I bought him a male sex toy. My boyfriend LOVES it. I usually hold it and he uses it, he says it is very very close to the real thing and he is satisfied. I no longer feel bad or pressured to have sex, and I don't have to worry, there is no clean up, you just wash it out.

way to be creative! The important thing is that you're sharing in the fun, and that's really what great sex is. It's when people drift apart because of pain that things fall apart. It's great that your boyfriend is open to experimenting. There's lots of things people with IC can do with their partners. It's just a question of finding the right partner......
