  • Sensitive skin lubricants

Good morning! Have any of you tried the Trojan H2O lubricant or the astroglide sensitive? I’m wondering if they’re safe. I was raped in 2006 after my IC diagnosis and it resulted in vaginismus. So I’m using dilators to get past my fear so it will need to be safe enough to use several times a week.

One thing you might do is to do an allergy skin test. When my youngest was small our dermatologist had me do skin tests by putting a small amount of the product on his upper arm, using a q-tip, then covering it with saran wrap, held in place by a small piece of tape. That way I could see his skin and remove the product if there was any redness or swelling. They had me leave it on for 24 hours if no irritation, then we could use it on him.

    P.S. to the IC Network.

You always have the best ideas. I wouldn’t have thought of that but I’ll try to remember it next time I want to try something new.

I’m sorry! I don’t think I was clear. I meant had anyone had a flare using these!
