  • SON'S GRADUATION

MY SON IS GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL ON MAY 4TH. I AM SO PROUD OF HIM. MY PROBLEM IS HE WANTS A BIG FAMILY PARTY ON THE 3RD. I SAID OK BUT I KNOW I WILL BE STRESSED OUT. I GET STRESSED OUT WITH MY HUSBANDS SIDE OF FAMILY. THEY ARE NOT VERY UNDERSTANDING AND THEY DRINK TO MUCH. SO I HOPE THINGS GO ALRIGHT AND I DO NOT HAVE A FLARE FOR MY SONS GRADUATION.

Given the age of the guest of honor (your son) I would be very specific that no alcoholic beverages will be served (or allowed!)

Another thought is to make the food very simple --- order pizzas. Then have some veggies, chips, fresh fruit, and a decorated cake with ice cream. You could even order a "special" pizza that you can eat. And plenty of soft drinks. Your son will most likely like this kind of party.

The big thing to remember is to do something that won't be a lot of work for you.

    Sending a huge hug,
    Donna

    Stay safe

I'm with Donna all the way!!!!

It's your house and since your son isn't old enough to drink, I would only serve pop too. I have been to plenty of graduation parties where there was no booze served.

PLEASE, make the party the easiest way possible for you.....
