I purchased a freshette (freshette.com I think). These items are available at camping stores; many women hikers use them when the bushes are not thick enough to pee behind. They are great; no derriere to bare.

    Hello Gwyn angel :

You would have to hide it, it's good for when you don't want to sit on a toilet seat that someone has peed on, traveling in the car, walking in the forest, you can put one on yourself and pee into a bottle, cup, or on the ground like a man. (read Yvette's funny post). If you look at my first post, there is a weblink that can lead you to a picture of one.

Sorry to here that you are in so much pain when you pee. Does it only hurt when you pee? Do you have uretral scarring that makes it hurt so much? My Urethra just started hurting when I pee, at the end of the pee.

Yvette: I still have a good laugh when I read your reply, you are really very funny. lmao lmao lmao

    Hugs, Yvonne

You just have to place it there and hold it while you're using it. When done, you clean it, wipe it dry and stuff it in your pocket or purse.

    Hello Yvette angel :

Thank you for the information, I had a good laugh lmao at your description. Still laughing, lmao . this laughing icon is really cute, its nice to get to use it. lmao lmao

If I come across the Travel John in a specialty drugstore I will buy one as I am on a search for Perineal Wash Bottle next week. The Travel John would be good for when I go walking in the park. We have a really big park and if you wander deep into it there are no toilets.

I could order this party pack advertised on the ICN. The bodi heat heating pads are fantastic and I can't find them here.

Hi there! It's about 6 inches long and its made of hard plastic. the larger end you cup it around the end of your urethra. As you pee it makes a vacuum seal and the pee comes out the end.

You just place there when you need it....sort of like an artificial penis for us girls ::::::squeals with laughter:::::::: lmao
The cool thing is, (if you can get the hang of it) is you don't have to pull your pants down...just your fly. You could use it camping....to avoid poison ivy and bugs...no need to squat!

You could use it in public bathrooms....again no need to squat and hover...really a good thing for your pelvic floor muscles.....

You could use it in the car...if you're stuck in traffic just pee into a empty soda bottle...or drink cup or soda can.

    And no one would know..
But your question posed a good idea...what if there were something you could wear something??? more comfortable than hard plastic, and not as invasive as a catheter (YOUCH!).....hmmmmm.

Well you know what they say....necessity is the mother of invention! I hope that helps you some...I think that Travelmate website has a pic(s) of how to use that thing. I'll take a look

    Hello:

Yvette angel , I don't know if I have need for them, are the good for urgency?

Do you wear them all the time? Do you have to hide around a corner and use them or are they concealed. I have had two urgency accidents where I peed myself really bad. I could not unzip my zipper fast enough. Some days I walk around with my zipper open so I can get my pants off fast. The other day I walked to the clinic in my PJ bottoms. This started when I had a drastic increase in pain and soreness in the urethra after peeing. I am waiting to see a vulvodynia specialist as my Uro said my bladder is not the culprit.

I think if I had to go really bad and no washroom was available I would go in the men’s washroom. I just wanted to post them for others and see what they are good for.

Thank you Donna angel , I had a look at our site to see if they were advertised. I am pleased to see you back on the boards, I hope you are feeling well

    Thank you for the replies,

If you go to the pull-down menu at the top of this page you will find the ICN shopping center. The Travel John available via the ICN is easy to use. I have tried them --- the first time I tried one, I went into the shower --- and didn't spill a single drop.

Hi Yvonne: I have 2, I haven't used them much. It does take practice, or it can make a mess. If you can try it in the shower til you get the hang of it. I never got that into it tho lmao

Tip: Save your money....make your own. All it is: is one of those kid's medicine spoons with the end lopped off. You can find them in the pharmacy where they keep plastic pill boxes and organizers.
