  • Not much longer, started the bottle tan today

We leave on March 15 for Florida to leave for our cruise on MArch 17. I am so excited. I started fake tanning today. My poor white snowed in body has not seen sun in months LOL. They would probably throw me overboard and think I was a great white shark. Not sure what is more exciting the cruise away from the kids or getting to spend sometime with BABSRN before we leave. She is such a sweety lettling us crash with her since there isn't room available in that area and letting us leave our car with her which is much safer then somewhere in a parking garage for days.

Look out Carribean here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

I wish I was going on a cruise... I'm so jealous

Good luck with the bottle tan. Let's hope for no streaks or orangeness

I'm with you Jen - I am so jealous!! You better have a great and wonderful time and come with so many pictures, we'll be blind after looking at them all!

Speaking of bottle tan, that reminds me I have some I keep meaning to use just for the hell of it - as in not going anywhere, but it's fun to play with in winter. That way if you screw up, you can hide it with long sleeves, long pants, etc. I like to make it look like I was tannng in a thong, lmao!!!!!

I use Toma Tan, you can not screw this stuff up at all. It looks like you are a streaked mess but once you buff it off in an hour with a towel and a evening shower your look great.

I found one called St. Tropez self-tanner at Sephora.com. It's an exfoliator, tanner, and moisturizer set. You exfoliate, moisturize, and after the moisturizer has set in, you rub the tanner on all over. It also looks like a streaked mess when you put it on... you put on horrible old pj's you hate once it's dry ('cause it still rubs off a little) and sleep. In the morning, you wash off the crappy brown streaks and you have a nice brown tan... no orange

The cool thing is you can also buy a "self-tanning corrector" from the same brand. If you get streaks/dark places around the ankles or wrists (error areas at least for me ) you can scrub this stuff in and it buffs 'em out!

FOR SALE BEST OFFER 1 carnival cruise ticket, since hubby refuses to let me start ironing his close and packing them, he just wants to throw then in and deal with it there. OK 1 laundry area for 400 people, I think we may have a problem.

Will consider giving the ticket if you promise to already have things ironed and agree to stay over night on the way down to avoid a bladder flare. (He wants to drive straight threw only 16 hours. I give up WHy do men make things so difficult.
