I must admit that I doubt with four kids that we will have the money to take a vacation any time soon even with a discount but it is REALLY nice of you to offer this to people. Sounds like a great oppurtunity for a great vacation with big savings.

Oh, God, we love Club Med! Punta Cana is our favorite vacation spot. I am the world's strictest mom when it comes to schoolwork, but have even been known to yank my kid out of school if an opportunity arises (we tell the school we're going "abroad so she can practice her French,") LOL

Unfortunately, Ixtapa is closed until at least November for her remodel. But- when she re-opens, everything will be all brand new, so it's worth the wait! I've seen some pics of the early work, and so far it's gorgeous!

If have been to club meds several times only the single ones as I am single. If you are single I would recommend the singles cancun club if you are going there. If married you may feel out of place at the all singles mostly club meds trust me. VIcky

Cancun is no longer for singles... hasn't been for over three years. Turks and Caicos is the only singles Club Med, and even that may be going family. I know, I know, don't shoot the messenger...

And unfortunately guys, thanks to the IC- I'm no longer with Club Med. I forgot this was here or I would have updated...

They're still a great place to play... just no discounts.

Oh- as for being married at the "singles" club... that's not an issue any more, as they have calmed WAY down. They used to get really wild, not anymore. They're going for an upscale image now, and the wild "get naked" party themes just don't work. So- married or not, feel free to choose any of the villages. Some are extremely kid oriented, others 50/50.

Ixtapa was finished last year... and she is gorgeous! I don't really want to talk about her though... thanks to the I.C. I went out on disability two weeks before I was booked to see the renovations...

So- no Ixtapa for me... I tried SO hard to hang on the last two weeks... but simply couldn't do it! I begged them to let me go anyway, but you know how "corporate" can be... they were mad that I got my disability approved... so no trip.

But- she's ready.... go to Clubmed.us to see all the pictures!

Hi...I am due to go on a all-inclusive vacation to Mexico next month and am scared to death as what to eat....I booked it the day before I came out of remission after several years Any tips would be appreciated!
