Dawn, years ago I took dramanine and it made me so sleepy. As I can recall I don't think it bother my bladder. Also my cousin takes ginger root for motion sickness.
I've never had a problem with it. I will suggest an alternative....you can call your doctor and ask for a small dose of phenergan or reglan for the motion sickness. I take it because I have nausea from severe acid reflux, and while a large dose does make me sleepy, a small dose doesn't, and it works MUCH better than dramamine---especially if I'm already vomiting, both meds will stop it most of the time.
04/17/09 Crohn's disease almost killed me with a combo of extreme constipation from pain medications. My bowel ruptured, I almost died from peritonitis and spent several days in the ICU then more in a private room on the floor. If you have any questions about severe constipation from pain meds please don't hesitate to send me a message.
