  • Traveling

Hey Guys! So in August, I will be traveling to Oaklahoma (9 hour drive by bus) with the Education Department at my college to work with children on an Indian Reservation. I’m totally ecstatic to be a part of this, but am so nervous about traveling with IC and staying 8 days in a different state. Any tips on traveling, eating out with IC and just any general tips on staying out of a flare would be greatly appreciated!! My 21st birthday will be in October so I’ve been trying really really hard to stick to the diet and do everything possible to try and heal so I can have a normal 21st birthday.

    Re: Traveling

Sounds like an exciting adventure. I suggest that you take along some small pillows for the bus ride so you can change positions easily. Most buses these days have restrooms, but if it doesn't, I suggest taking along some Travel Johns (available in the ICN Shop). Wear comfortable clothing, stick with the diet, and have a wonderful time.

    Huge hugs,
    Donna
