Hi girls, last night I got a phone call about 9:30, and it was my friend I have known since we were about 14 or 15.. She has been living in South Carolina for the last 6 or 7 years. She and her b/f Tim was in Michigan to visit her son and her 2 week old granbaby. She came over early this afternoon, I got to see 2 out of 3 of her boys, and meet there girlfriends and new grandbaby..
It was really great, and we kinda of just picked up where we left off, and talked about all the trouble we got into.

That's so nice Cindy. I got to see my cousin this weekend who I never get to see anymore because we're about 3 hours away from each other and you know how busy life can get. Glad you got to have a nice visit.

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)
