I am so happy! My little sister is coming from Houston to stay with us. She's coming May 17th. She is one of my favorite people in the whole world. We can talk for hours on end on the phone, and we do (we have the same warped sense of humor, similar views on the world, and we are both college professors). But her coming out is something else again. Every time we visit each other, we end up staying up until all hours, laughing, singing -- we taught ourselves to sing in harmony when we were six and twelve years old, and we've never stopped -- and laughing some more. She also gets along beautifully with her brother in law, and her niece adores her. I know that I can count on her to take my physical problems into account, and never complain. Tonight on the phone she helped me pick out a cane from a website; we each got onto this web site and we looked at all the carved wood canes together and made a selection. That's Julie, whatever the topic or activity is, she jumps right in and makes it fun.
Oh, I am so happy! Joyeuse, heureuse, contente, et vachement plu!
