I am greatful for so many people in my life and would like to list a few people who have made a real dent in my life (in a good way).
Tammy- my PT, who can make me feel better no matter how bad of a mood I'm in. She also goes above and beyond the duties of a PT. She is currently helping me to find the solution to my chronic knee pain (even after surgery) by talking to some doctors she used to corrispond with.
Dorie- who sometimes pokes fun at my IC. Although she too has a bladder the size of a Jujube.
Alisha- my best friend of 11 years who has stood by me IC and all. She even played cards with me while I was sitting on the potty during an IC flare. My partner in crime
Emilie- my other friend (of 7 years) who, even though she doesn't grasp the severity of my IC, still helps keeps me sane and makes me smile.
My urologist (current)- because he knows about IC and NEVER said "it's all in your head".
Julia- another friend who is a rabid fan of anime/manga/J-Pop (as am I) and it was nice to find someone is school who shares the same interest. Although I could have lived with out the "pokes" (don't ask).
I am also greatful for my over all good health, family (or what's left of it), my home, and the TV show LOST--which keeps me sane. Most of all I am greatful for this board of supportive people.
Thank you--everyone.
