I just went to my daughter's middle school graduation ceremony. Of course I couldn't get the video camera to work, took camera shots of the wall and other people's kids, and was miserably uncomfortable in the bleechers....but, it was yet another time to reflect on my children and how blessed I've been.
Many of you will remember all that my daughter went through this school year, the seizure, hitting her head, missing a lot of school, etc, but she managed to pull herself up by the bootstraps and graduate with a 3.7 GPA! I am just so proud of her. The principal made me cry because he said the next time we gather like this will be in 2011 for high school graduation. I just can't believe I'm going to have another one in high school.
My youngest sat next to me, and my ex husband on the other side of me (Tom had to work and couldn't escape) and I just sat there and reflected on my life and what great children we've created. Even though we don't live together anymore, we sure did a good thing, 3 times. We're raising well mannered, smart, driven children who want to succeed and enjoy life.
I won't go on any more, I just needed to write down how happy I am that things are turning out so well....for all of my children!
