  • Trying to be Positive.

    I have been having some issues with my depression and the IC. It is all so hard trying to balance a normal life with this disease. I am a wife of a wonderful husband who stands by me thru and thru. It is so hard sometimes because I just want to give up but him nor my parents family, etc will let me. I just wish there was a cure. I am hopeful that one day there will be a cure for IC. We all need a break from this,, It really runs down on our bodies. I am sorry just needed to get that out. Hope everyone is doing well and stay positive. With all of us we can try to find a cure. Many Hugs

    It can only get better with the faith.
    God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change; Courage to change the things I can; And
    Wisdom to know the difference.

    Trust in the LORD with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
    in all your ways acknowledge him,
    and he will direct your paths.

    Proverbs 3, 5-6

    Diagnosed with IC June/July 2008

    Living one day at a time;
    Enjoying one moment at a time;
    Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
    Taking, as He did, this sinful world
    as it is, not as I would have it;
    Trusting that He will make all things right
    if I surrender to His Will;
    That I may be reasonably happy in this life
    and supremely happy with Him
    Forever in the next.
    Amen.

    offering hugs and support

    Hi, I just wanted to offer some support even if its just to let you know people care. I'm glad you have the support of your hubby and family. All I can offer is hugs and support. Keep trying as I'm sure you are. There are people here that do care. I care and I do hope for better days for all of us. You have a strong faith. Pray when you can and ask for help when you need it. I wish I could make it better.

    many hugs ,
    Ophelia

        You are so fortunate to have a husband who is supportive through everything! I also have a kind, gentle husband --- and I am very thankful for him every day.

            Praying for rays of sunshine to shine into your life from above.
            Elinor

            I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
            That I would see the goodness of the Lord
            In the land of the living.
            Wait on the Lord;
            Be of good courage,
            And He shall strengthen your heart;
            Wait, I say, on the Lord!
            ***Psalm 27:13-14***

              I know how hard it is stay positive when you have this debilitating disease. For me it's a day to day struggle. Even on my best days like today I know a flare could be just around the corner I pray every night for a cure. I pray not just for me but all of us who afflicted by this condition. Remember You are alone. We all understand what what you are going through.
