                  hi Cindy,
Prayers are going up for Jess. She's a sweetie and I'm so sorry her pharmacy made that kind of mistake. Hopefully, since they're aware of the problem they can treat her with no residual complications. Keep us posted about her. Thanks for posting about her.

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

                      Thank you so much everyone!!!

Last night things peaked aroung 8 p.m. and I began to have a hard time breathing and I was passing out and couldn't walk or think or anything, so we called our doctor, because I refused to go to the e.r. (I mean my husband sat in his room coughing up blood while the doctor was out in the hall for an HOUR before seeing him, talking to a cop!!!) well the pain doc wasn't on call but we got the family doc on the phone, and she said first off, Neuronin and Morphine Sulfate do not interact well, and that's what I was experiencing.

Secondly, that dosage of morphine was too high for me. AND she said even the 20's would be too high for me and has NO idea what the pain doc was thinking!!!

So last night I had everyone in the house watching me, because there was a chance things could've gotten worse, but thankfully they didn't. A lesson learned the hardway I suppose.

Boy that pharmacist is going to get some phone calls on Monday! My mom is so angry, and so are the doctors. But I am confused with the pain doc. I'm not taking anymore till Monday.

Thanks Cindy for posting for me. I'm sorry I worried you!!! Huggies and love ya!!!
