    I was talking to my Nephew last night and he was telling me his buddy was in a horrible motorcycle accident If you live in Fla in the Orlando area you may have heard this on the news or in the paper.. Pleas, please, please pray for this young man. here is our conversation.

    Richie Olson: u hear what happened to my friend?
    me: no what?
    Richie Olson: my buddy is in ICU and might not live
    Richie Olson: got in a wreck on his bike Sat night
    me: omg who and what happened

    Richie Olson: an 80-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed at County Road 419, south of Big Oak Bend, the FHP said.

    Segunda Sarabasa, the FHP report states, "stepped into the road" in front of a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Christopher William Payne, 20, of Chuluota.

    The impact threw Sarabasa several feet across the road, into the northbound lane, the FHP said. She was killed instantly.

    Richie Olson: his 21st bday is in 2 weeks
    Richie Olson: and now he gets to spend it in the hospital
    Richie Olson: he got his head split open from front 2 back
    Richie Olson: bunch of broken ribs
    me: omg.......
    Richie Olson: had to remove his spllen
    me: no helmet?
    Richie Olson: spleen**
    Richie Olson: had 1 on
    me: geesh.. don't you dare get a bike
    Richie Olson: parts of his spine are broken and movin around in his back
    Richie Olson: his shoulder is messed up real bad
    Richie Olson: they had to medically induce him into a coma
    me: omg did you go see him
    Richie Olson: he lost 5 pints of blood on the scene
    me: holy ****
    Richie Olson: cant hes in ICU
    Richie Olson: doc said it dont look good
    Richie Olson: hes been in and out of surgery for 2 days
    me: omg........
    Richie Olson: i guess it broke his neck 2
    Richie Olson: spun his head almost all the way around
    me: sending out a bunch of prayers that he is ok.. gosh rich I am so sorry
    Richie Olson: thats 1 of my best friends here
    me: ((((((((((hugs))))))))))))
    me: hows his parents doing
    Richie Olson: havent talked to them
    me: wow.. maybe you should call and let them know if they need you to call
    Richie Olson: dont have a #
    me: you know where they live?
    Richie Olson: nope
    me: damn.. maybe pop in the hospital and see if there is anything you can do
    Richie Olson: nobody but family can be in ICU
    me: geesh... not good at all hun
    me: can't you go to the hospital and ssay you were family, and talk to his family?
    Richie Olson: they are gonna try to take him out of ICU tonight by what i heard
    me: ok good, going to get off here I am so tired and in pain. I luv you.

      OMG, that's so terrible!!!!

      I will keep your nephew, his friend and his familiy in my prayers...what a tragedy.

      Hydroxyzine 50 or 100mg at night (Is restarted)
      Zoloft 100mg 4/8/07 (Is restarted)
      Klonopin 1/2 mg 4 X Day (started 3/17/07)
      Past Treatments: Amitriptyline, Neurontin, Hytrin, Heparin instills (was Dc'd after 5 weekly tx's due to severe urethritis), Superior hypogastric plexus block, E-stim, Elmiron instills (started 4/18/06-Dc'd 5/30/06 due to severe urethritis/infection requiring foley cath @ home 4 days), Oxycontin (oxycodone) (4/18/06)-pain (Dc'd 5/31/06), Levsin S/L (hyoscyamine) (3/17/06)-antispasmotic (Dc'd 5/31/06), Elmiron (1/24/06)-(Dc'd 6/25/06), Prelief, Zanaflex 4mg for PFD (Dc'd 10/1/06), CystaQ 1 in am & 1 in pm with food(started 5/12/06-increased to 2 in am & 1 in pm 9/20/06---Dc'd 10/18/06), Lyrica (started 10/26/06 up to 600 mg-Dc'd 12/4/06 due to urinary retention), Vicodin (hydrocodone) ES PRN for pain (Dc'd 1/4/07); Cymbalta 30mg (start 1/17/07) up to 60mg in am (1/26/07) (D/c'd 3/17/07); Ativan 1mg(Lorazepam)- PRN Anxiety (changed to Klonopin 1/2mg 4Xday 3/17/07); Pyridium (phenazopyridine) PRN-bladder analgesic; MSM (6/12/06) 1000mg after breakfast & dinner (Dc'd 3/15/07); Acidophilus (Natrol) 100mg. 1 capsule 1/2 hour before breakfast (5/20/06) (Dc'd 3/17/07)

      Added BACK in - Atarax (hydroxyzine) (started 4/6/06 Dc'd 5/31/06) Restart 50mg at night 8/18/06, up to 100mg at night 1/4/07. Zoloft 100mg-Depression (Dc'd 7/25/06) Restart 4/8/07) 100mg.
      Dx'd: Dec 05 (Positive PST in November and positive cystoscopy in Dec) Symptoms: Pain, frequency, urgency & retention

              How horrible. My BIL friend was in a bad motorcycle accident couple years ago and he is paralized also. I will keep him in my prayers

              Also, when my dad was in ICU they had a waiting room for family and friends in the ICU area. I know here even in ICU family can only go in for so many minutes every couple of hours. SO maybe he can go up to the hospital and check in with the family room for the ICU unit.
              God grant me the serinity to withstand the days ahead!!!

                  Terrible situation for all involved.
                  Hopefully things will turn around for this young man and by some miracle will make a full recovery.

                      Meds For IC: Lyrica-25mg Glucosamine-500 MSM-500mg, Prosed Ds -When Flaring

                      Other Meds: Levlite- Continious Birtcontrol, Micardis-40mg for High Blood Pressure

                      Meds I have Tried:
                      Topamax,Tofranil, Elmiron, Atarax, Cymbalta, Elavil, Enablex, Detral La, Prydium.
                      Lexapro< Bad reaction to this med!
                      Intstills, could not continue them due to some kind of reaction after 3rd instill. Tasted the lidocaine in my mouth, tongue and lips went numb then went into what seemed like a panic attack. Shaking, racing heart, tingling face/head, blood pressure shot up..

                      Dx With IC in Nov 2006 with Hydro/Cysto
                      Hydro/Cysto Caused Bladder to Rupture.

                      Other Dxs-Vulvodynia,Fibro, Endo, IBS, HPV, Migraines, Spastic Colon, Mild Dysplasia.

                              I will check the news websites and the paper today and keep my eyes open. I live about 40 miles from Orlando--was it the 419 or the 417? Either way, prayers headed his way.
