I hope you feel better soon Leslie
      Christine

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

Thanks girl, what started out as a flare from you know where, turned into what I thought was just the stomach flu. After a trip to urgent care this afternoon a shot in the rump and oral antibiotics I have a really nasty case of pyelo.

you beat me too it Barb, Leslie is really really sick, She is having her mom and mil watching Her baby. She has been throwing up and in pain for a few days. We talked a few times over the last 3 days. Not like we normally do 6 or 7 times a day. She did tell me she was going to go to the clinic if she didn't get better. she did go, glad she went.
Thanks Barb for posting for her.

I just got off the phone with Leslie, she is turning her phone off and going to go lay back down. She still sounded really rough, but a lot better then what she sounded like over the last 3 days.
