  • Prayer for Son

Hubby and I recieved an e mail from our son, today. He is in Hyderabad, India right now working and will be there another 2 weeks. He wrote to tell us that there was a bomb explosion at the largest mosque there. He wanted us to know that he is fine in case we read about it or saw it on the news. According to the news, there were 11 people killed in the blast and 2 more died because of riots. The leaders in India are asking for calm but there is so much unrest between religious factions in that country.

Please pray that things do not get worse and that he will remain safe.

    Thank you...
    Sharon

        How scary Sharon
        Christine

I have been diagnoised for 6 1/2 years now. I have taken a long break from the ICN but really miss helping out my fellow IC patients and want to get back into posting.
1st hydro 4/07 showed no visible signs of IC but tons of mast cells in all my biopsy samples which did prove IC.
2nd hydro 4/13/09 showed dark purple glomerulations and I had a capacity of 450 cc's. This hydro proved that my IC had progressed.
I have tried every oral medication as well as rescue instills and DMSO.

I have been lucky enough to see Dr Hanno, the top IC specialist in PA who has told me due to the fact that I have not responded to any "standard" treatments that I have a severe, end stage case of IC with a horrible quality of life (didn't have to tell me that last part!)

I will pray for his safety. When my son was serving in Afganastan I was worried but then I realized the Lord could take care of him over there just as well as here. The Lord knows no boundaries and I was able to find peace and not worry. Hope this calms some of your fears.
