  • Husband Leaving

Hi all my name is Miranda and just found out my husband will be leaving on Sept.20 for 14 mon to Afghanistan with the Army. This will be his 3rd time leaving and I do think it is just as hard as the first. He will be in a war zone and we also have 2 kids now not just 1. Well I just wanted to let you know so you could keep us in your prayers.
I am 28 and have been married for 7years. I have two boys one is 6 and the other 2. I have worked at the same job for 10 years.

I so understand the fear, lonliness, and general worry that comes with a deployment. My husband spent 14 months in Mosul Iraq. Please let me know if you need to talk, vent, need help or anything. We all need to stick together.

            Hugs,
            Barb

                    memorial day

I'll be praying for you and your family. I too understand how stressful deployment is. My hubby was called up 3 weeks after Sept. 11 and spent 14 months in Afghanistan. It was a difficult time. Know that we are here for you if you ever need a shoulder. Best wishes, Lee Ann

Praying for your husband's safety and quick return home. God bless all of you for serving our country. We can't express enough how grateful we are that they are willing to serve.
My son is suppose to be leaving in Sept for Afghanstan, he was there a year ago too. So I can understand how difficult this is. Just remember the Lord knows no boundaries and can care for him overseas as well as in the USA.

Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and that if you need anything, please let me know. I know how hard it is to have them back and them have them come down on orders to deploy again. It is so hard for me to see because when we were stationed at Fort Irwin when the conflict first began, it was scary enough. Now to see the same people, active, Reserve, and National Guard going back for the second, third, and fourth times--AACK! Not a political statement, but I know hard hard the deployment was and what it did to my family. Prayers headed your way.

                              Hugs,
                              Barb
