  • Prayers for my Grandson

My grandson Abram (23 months) is back in the hospital with pneumonia. He's had one health problem after another since getting transverse myelitis when he was 8 months old. Our medical services are limited up here so they always end up down at the children's hospital in Spokane WA. Far enough away so that it's hard for me to visit. (A great hospital though!)

Please keep him in your prayers that he recovers from this quickly!

My daughter tells me that Abram is looking better this evening. I imagine the IV antibiotics are beginning to kick in. All I can say is that he's one tough little guy!

Thank you for all of your prayers. They're working!

            Hugs,
            Vicki

Thanks to all of you for your prayers! I wanted to post an up-date.

Abram came home from the hospital yesterday though they still have him on oxygen, nebulizer and antibiotics. All in all they felt he'd reached the point where he was better off at home rather than take the risk of exposing him to the various bugs in the hospital environment.

All I know is he's doing so much better, thank God!

It was about a year ago that they gave him chemo to shut down his immune system. I don't know if that's why he continues to have so many respiratory problems (how long does it take for the immune system to come back?), or if it's simply due to the remaining effects from TM. Life certainly isn't fair!

Vicki I'm glad to hear that your grandson is home. I am praying that his health improves soon! I believe in the power of prayer. I declare and decree that little Abram will get stronger and his immune system will grow stronger and stronger each day!

                    Best wishes,
