To my IC family, I asked that you pray that my laprascopy and bladder hydrodistension tommorow goes well and a safe recovery. Im very afraid of doctors and hospitals. I hate being put to sleep also. I guess Im a lil paranoid. Im worried about the recovery pain. There arent too many prescription pain killers that I can take without it disturbing my gastritis and IBS causing me stomach cramps, naseau and profuse sweating. I also had a really bad day at school.(Im a graduate student btw). The professor embarrased me in front of the whole class. It was unecessary and I feel unethical. Its a long story but Im crying as Im typing this. I walked out of the class even though I wasnt suppose to because I was angry and I wanted to show him that Im not going to sit through class after he degreaded me. and now my grade could be on the line and possibly I might be dropped out of the program. This was one of the most embarassing experiences of my life and Im finding it hard to cope with that and the anxiety that I have about tommorow. thanks so much ur prayers are appreciated

Hope you made it through okay, please let us know how you are doing. Shame on that professor, what a jerk. Had one like that in college as well. I pulled him aside one day and read him the riot act. He never bothered me again and I aced the course (deservedly so). Sometimes you need to speak up. He has no regards for your feelings, so don't worry about his. Maybe you will save future students some misery. Save the world girl!!! Hope you are okay and getting through your recovery. Take it easy for a while if you can. The professor did apologize. He was stressed out he states. I believe in forgiveness so I moved on. The lap and cysto went well. but my IC is now severe. I also may have endo of the bowels. The removed tissue has been sent to the lab for testing. Im flaring a bit now I think from the hydrodistension. I hope it helps though. thanks, I may not be able to get them. I find out tommorow. Insurance may not cover the indregients. its always something.....

Insurance Denied
My insurance company will not cover the compounding for the ingredients of the instills. The only thing that they will cover is elmiron.. I have an appointment with a new doct I found on the IC network. He is suppose to be up to date with treatments. Im traveling 2 hours to see him. Hopefully there are other options out there. The uros out here dont know much about IC and quite frankly dont seem to care. thanks guys for the prayers. I really need them right now. The hydrodistension I just had didnt seem to help and I also have BV again

I'm sorry that your insurance will not cover everything for your instills! Right now I'm doing instills with 1 Elmiron capsule and sterile water. It helps a lot. I pray that this other doc has some other solutions for you!
