  • fires in Texas

Please lets all pray for the people that affected by the fires here in Texas. On sunday the news said there were 56 fires burning. It has been a bad summer here, with the drought and very hot, dry summer. Lots of people are being evacuated(?) from their homes. A former supervisor just found out some news on where she lives (the fire marshall said that her house is still there but they are getting ready to evacuate as the fires are just about a block or so from her. Besides this supervisor there are a lot of others here in the office that has been effected. Most of them lost everything except the clothes on their backs.

Praying. I have family in Magnolia North East of Houston. Terrible picture on Facebook and message saying they had to leave right away. Have yet to hear from them again and I'm very concerned. So sad for the people dealing with this. Horrible. Ziggy

They had 3 in Bastrop alone, Bastrop National Forest is totally gone! There was a small fire in the community park where I live at but thankfully that was contain right away. In Bastrop they found 2 dead - a woman and her child.
In Leander, there was a fire that was started by 4 teenagers. There are others but they are too many to name. Just hope we get some rain really soon.

I'm so sorry for everyone dealing with this. It's such a scary thing to have happen. We have many close fires here in the forest area, and it's frightening to the say the least.
