  • very spiritual and uplifting day

Well today I went seeking the lord in many places. I woke up and got dressed and went out for an adventure. My friend I am staying with to me to her catholic religion. I then went 20 feet away and went to a baptist church. I felt I wanted to still feed on the daily bread so I went to the kingdom hall of jehovah's witnesses. Just listening to all the preist, pastors, and brothers it was really an uplifting and great day. I always grab my holy bible and pray to the lord and jesus when I feel worried and down. I also feel closer to the lord and I know he is helping me through this tough time. Without him I would probably have little to no hope.
    I love the lord

How wonderful. I love days like that - they kind of give you a recharge, huh?

          Diagnosed August 2001

Current IC meds: Elmiron (since 2001), Levaquin (one pill after intercourse to prevent UTIs), Effexor (for depression & anxiety)

Past IC meds: Amitriptyline (Elavil), Hydroxyzine (Vistaril), Detrol LA, Lexapro (for depression & anxiety, but also helped my IC) (They all helped, but I was able to discontinue them.)

I've been virtually symptom free and able to eat & drink whatever I'd like for about 8 years now.

“We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms -- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.” ~ Viktor Frankl
