  • fried?

    hi everyone.
I am getting so bored of steamed and boiled stuff like the french recommend (I am algerian, so french speaking). Can I eat homemade fried patatos? or fried belly peppers? thx and have a nice day

Fried foods aren't the most healthy alternative, but I eat them with no problem. If I can eat something boiled or broiled, frying it doesn't bother my bladder.

I eat fried foods with no issues to my bladder, my IBS doesn't like it at all, but the bladder is fine. Just got an Instant Pot with an air fryer lid and it is fantastic, you should try air frying!!

I noticed that fried food tends to irritate my bladder.
For the past few months, I had a drastic change in my diet and I have been eating very basic food (veggies and Fish) and for drinks just water. My meals usually are steamed or oven. This didnt make my bladder functions in a better way but if I eat anything else things tend to get worse.

When you get to the point of trying to add to your diet, I encourage trying them one at a time --- and keeping a diary so you can evaluate the effect on your bladder. If you want to try fried things once in a while, I suggest using different alternatives to use --- I usually fry things in a small amount of butter; it seems to do best for me.
