I find it interesting that liver--both chicken and calf--is placed on the new diet list as usually okay. In reading posts on this board through the years, I over noticed over and over again that people have indicated difficulty with liver and many other organ meats. What information is the new category placement based on????

    Just wondering. . . .

I have never had a problem with either chicken or beef liver. I don't get to eat them very often because my husband doesn't like liver of any kind.

The diet lists on both the ICA site and the IC Network are based on information from thousands of IC patients.

I was able to find one reference that says that chicken livers "might" be a problem for some.

One of my worst flares was after eating chicken livers. I will never eat another one. I love them and was hoping they would not bother me but that was not the case.
