  • Histamine level rises in left over meat

    Hi gals,
My dietician told me today that histamine rises significantly in meat left overs each day in the fridge. She recommends you cut it up into serving sizes, add some juice from the meat (i.e. from the pan) and freeze. Thaw out or microwave and it should be like fresh.

    Very interesting,
    Cath

That's good to know. I try to cook only what we will eat at a single meal, but sometimes leftovers can't be avoided.

    Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting indeed. I've been suspecting that for some time, it's great to have a medic's confirmation. Do you think it might be true also for leftover vegetables ?
